Dr Atef  is a specialized orthopedic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience after finishing the master’s degree (M.Sc.) Master Degree in Orthopedic Surgery from Alexandria University 

Dr Atef is specialized in Orthopedic and Deformity correction and lengthening using Taylor Spatial Frame , he is trained and working on Taylor Spatial Frame since 2001 up to present during the past 20 years he handled more than 300 cases of Trauma, Deformity, Infection and Lengthening using this Taylor Frame. 

He has a very long experience in the GCC region, as he has been working as Orthopedic Specialist since 1995 to 2000 in King Fahad Hospital, Al-Hofuf, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia . then he move to the UAE where he started working as Orthopedic Specialist, since 2000  to 2022 in Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi.

Dr Atef was focusing on  treating pediatric cases like DDH, TEV, CP, Pediatric Deformity correction and lengthening, limb reconstruction, bone defect and chronic osteomyelitis, also severe open fractures bone with bone and soft tissue loss using Ilizarof technique. 

Treating osteogenesis imperfecta by correcting deformity with telescopic nails treating cerebral patient joint contracture and feet deformity 

Also treating children with congenital hip dislocation and club feet deformity

Doing screening of newborn babies to check about unstable hips or feet deformities
